    Amazing gem hidden near Sand Lake! Do not expect straight outta the can, chain restaurant food here! I had the Hawaiian, ham with two slices of pineapple and Swiss cheese open face sandwich. Husband had the special of the day, pot pie....served in a skillet, bubbling with gravy and a beautiful crust. Because the diets were blown to heck, we ordered the apple pie and strawberry cream pie. The strawberry cream had fresh strawberries! The apple was still warm from the oven and gooey fresh!

    Food is okay. Nothing to write home about. But the service is awful. First of all, it's incredibly tiny and seat yourself so the only two 6 top tables were taken up by parties of less than four. Okay, whatever, put some tables together. NOPE. My party was very rudely told that it's not allowed. Honestly, I wish I would've just left then. So as we're waiting 30 minutes for our food, standing around 1 table so we can talk, one of the 6 tops clears out. They have a busser who could care less so I have to ask the waitress if she can clean it off for us. As we're moving tables a couple comes in and I realized they hadn't been spoken to so I started watching them and watching the clock. It took 10 minutes for them to just get a MENU! By the time we left they had ordered but didn't even have any drinks. What a sad, sad place.

    Cute little gem of a restaurant! Home cooking, extensive pie list with nice assortment of additional desserts. Looking forward to return to try the fried chicken and country fried steak.

    The waitresses are beyond polite. Food is very very reasonably priced. Free pie on your birthday.

    Great food and service. Very quick. Food was hot and delicious . Server was new and did a great job. I will be back soon.
